Expression of Interest to Register Your Land

with Landcare Australia

Each year, Landcare Australia conducts planting projects on a range of properties around Australia on behalf of various partners. Landcare Australia is building a database of land available for future planting projects. By registering your land, you’ll be considered for funding and project opportunities as they become available, helping to restore and protect Australia’s natural environment.

This opportunity is open to landholders, Traditional Owners, First Nations organisations, primary producers, environmental not-for-profit organisations, and government agencies. Together, we can deliver high-quality, on-ground outcomes that benefit both the environment and agriculture. If your project meets the criteria of one of our funding partners, we will contact you.

The Biodiversity Project: Haddon Rig

Macquarie Valley family farm, Haddon Rig, has become the sixth project to join the Landcare Australia and Country Road partnership, The Biodiversity Project.

Haddon Rig has joined with an aim to restore riparian zones and protect marshlands on the property, including the planting of native grasses and tree species to promote biodiversity and native species growth. This involves planting and fencing over 2,000 native trees and grasses, creating a safe habitat for migratory birds. Due to the success of the planting, an additional 2,000 trees were planted by the landowners.

Bring Your Community Together for Pollinators

Australian Pollinator Week (8–16 November) is a nine-day festival celebrating Australia’s diverse pollinators.

Australia is home to many pollinators, including more than 2,000 species of native bees as well as hoverflies, moths, butterflies, beetles and other vital species.

Schools, youth groups and families can get involved by hosting a pollinator picnic, planting bee-friendly flowers, joining the Australian Pollinator Count, creating pollinator art or running fun community activities. Visit the website for ideas to engage Junior Landcarers in learning all about pollinators.

New Five-year Partnership with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners

Landcare Australia and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) have launched a new five-year partnership to protect and preserve Australia’s natural environment.

The partnership is centred on boosting biodiversity and fostering sustainable ecosystems through a major revegetation project at CCEP sites across Australia. Around 55,000 native trees, shrubs and grasses will be planted across 55 hectares of land. Landcare Australia will lead the revegetation project, from site preparation, through to seeding, planting and ongoing management.
